The Happiness Team from the William Magee Institute for Student Wellbeing

Want to be a happiness superhero?

The William Magee Institute for Student Wellbeing is launching a research and education initiative for the 2022-23 academic year that will investigate the power of storytelling as a tool for translating the science of wellbeing into lives of happiness for students. We need your help!

With an emphasis on substance use and addiction, the Institute will form The Happiness Team, a trained group of student volunteers who will use their superpowers of engaging storytelling and active listening to help educate, influence, and support other students along the path of wellness. The initial focus of The Happiness Team will be on middle and high school students in Mississippi.
